Early Voting Now Underway For May 6 County Primary
The two week early voting period for the May 6 County Primary election got underway today.
During the primary voters will select both Democrat and Republican candidates to advance to the County General Election in August.
Most elected county positions will appear on the ballot. Names of candidates seeking election to the Lawrence County Commission, School Board, and constable will only appear on the August ballot.
The early voting period runs through Thursday, May 1. Voters wishing to participate in early voting may do so at the office of the Lawrence County Election Commission on Centennial Boulevard.
